Types of Information We Collect

This website is owned and operated by Rich Products Corporation. Here we collect both personally identifiable information and aggregate information. Personally identifiable information relates to an individual consumer - e.g., name, address, telephone number, email address, etc. We only collect personally identifiable information from individuals who provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly, such as by providing name and address information to enter a promotion. We don't require you to register or provide this information to us in order to view our site or access its content.

Aggregate information relates to such things as how many consumers visit the site, which pages they access, what recipes they download, the type of web browser, the name of your Internet Service Provider and so on. When you visit our site, we automatically collect this information and combine it with similar information collected about all other visitors. By collecting this information, we learn how to best tailor our website to our visitors.
 

How Information is Collected

When you enter a promotion, we collect the information needed for you to participate and for us to fulfill our obligations to you. When you email us, we collect the email address you supply, so that we can respond. We may respond to your comments or requests for information; or we may contact you if needed in the course of processing a promotion or service you requested through our website. We don't use your personal contact information for any purpose other than responding to the message you've sent, unless we have your permission. We also use personal information about you to improve our marketing and promotional efforts; to statistically analyze website usage; and to improve our features and content.

We also collect aggregate, non-personal information on an ongoing basis when you view our website. The collection of this non-personal information is done through "cookie" technology. Occasionally we receive a comment through the Contact Us form that we would like to publish as a testimonial on the website. We reserve the right to publish the comment to the website, along with your first name and last initial.

By submitting comments on the website, you hereby give permission for Rich's to use such comments on its promotional material. You forever release, indemnify, and hold Rich's harmless from and against any and all claims related to such use of your information, including but not limited to infringement or copyright violation, defamation, and false light. Rich's has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the information posted on its website and may remove any information at any time, for any reason whatsoever.
 

Promotions

Our site sometimes includes notices of promotions we are conducting, and we may permit you to enter electronically in some cases. If that occurs, we will use the information you provide for the purpose of conducting the promotion (e.g., to contact you if you're a winner). Within a reasonable time after the conclusion of the promotion, the personal information will be deleted from our database, unless you've agreed to permit us to keep it and use it to contact you again.
 

Third Parties

In the course of doing business, we employ other companies and individuals to perform a variety of functions on our behalf. For example, we hire agencies to help administer consumer promotions and to provide customer service. Rich Products Corporation does its best to make sure that every link on our website sends you and/or your kids to a safe place on the Internet. However, websites and addresses change quickly, and Rich Products Corporation cannot guarantee the content of every site to which we provide a link. Children's Privacy Policy

Areas of our website may be read by children. In these areas, our conduct is governed by federal law and regulations that address children's online privacy, as well as by the guidelines of the Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU), a part of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. We do not directly collect personally identifiable information from kids under 13, except as permitted by federal regulations and CARU guidelines. We do sometimes offer promotions on our website, such as a sweepstakes or contest. In those cases, we may permit the child to enter by submitting a first name and email address only, along with the name and email address of his/her parent. We then notify the parent about the child's entry, and offer the parent an opportunity to withdraw the entry and remove the submitted information from our database. If the parent permits the child's participation in the promotion and the child wins, we contact the parent (not the child) for further personal information needed for any prize delivery. We do not use the child's personal information for any purpose other than completion of the promotion, and we do not share the information with third parties (other than support service companies as described above), unless we've explicitly said so in the notice to parents. We delete the child's personal information from our database within a reasonable time after the conclusion of these promotions. We also might permit a child to send us an email. We will respond to these emails, but we do not store the names, email addresses, or the emails themselves in our operational database. We do not maintain this information, nor do we share it with third parties (other than support service companies as described above).

Under federal law, websites directed to children under 13 are prohibited from conditioning a child's participation in an activity on the child's disclosing more personal information than is reasonably necessary to engage in the activity. We comply fully with this requirement. Upon proper identification, any parent can review any personal information we have collected from their child, if we are still maintaining the information in our operational database. They may also request that the information be deleted from our database, and refuse to permit further collection or use of their child's information. Security

Rich Products Corporation has taken steps to make all information received from our online visitors as secure as possible against unauthorized access and use. Rich Products Corporation retains paper copies of faxed or mailed parental consent forms in a secure place. All other personal information provided by customers is kept in Rich Products Corporation's secure database. All information received from our customers is protected by our security measures, which are periodically reviewed. You should keep in mind, however, that no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and any information disclosed online can potentially be collected and used by parties other than the intended recipient.
 

Changes to Privacy Policy
