FARM RICH KICKS OFF FOOTBALL SEASON WITH ‘TWEENERS

Snacks to Enjoy ‘Tween Meals, Games & Plays

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. (Sept. 15, 2021) – With football season now officially underway, Farm Rich, one of America’s leading frozen snacks and appetizers brands, is positioning itself as “The Official Sponsor of Life In Between,” with a whole new concept in gameday and everyday snacking called “‘Tweeners.”

According to Ciera Womack, Farm Rich Director of Marketing, the new social and digital media campaign promotes those “‘tween” moments in our day when we just need something filling to help fuel up between meals. And particularly on gameday, fans are looking for snacks to entertain and help make it through the games.

“Fall means football, where planning for snacks and tailgates is just as important as the plays on the field. With ‘Tweeners, we’re sharing how you don’t have to wait between meals, games or plays to enjoy tasty, filling foods. Whether you’re a major Mozz Stick fan or all about Loaded Potato Skins or Meatballs, our snacks help fill those ‘Tween moments in your day,” Womack adds.

Last year, Farm Rich kicked off an exclusive, three-year partnership with the Southeastern Conference (SEC), becoming the “Official Frozen Snack of the SEC” across all SEC sports. The national brand is currently featuring a number of on-site activations at key college football stadiums to showcase its popular gameday snacks and the ‘Tweeners lineup.

The ‘Tweener campaign, developed by Scout, includes new social animated content at @FarmRichSnacks pages, as well as digital banners on Discovery, Google Display, Amazon and Facebook. A host of gameday-related posts illustrate how the ‘Tweener snacks are here to tide viewers over until dinner or after the game, with fun messaging like:

  • “Silence the hunger in beTWEEN meals”
  • “AM or PM, 2:00 to 6:00 is too long to wait. It’s ‘Tweener Time.”
  • “Some are here for the football. Some the commercials. You? The ‘Tweeners.”
  • “Stomach struggling to make it to kickoff? Bring ‘Tweeners to the tailgate.”
  • “Make sure to have something delicious on hand this season beTWEEN plays.”
