In the time it takes you to boil a package of egg noodles, you can prepare an amazing Meatball and Mushroom Stroganoff sauce that’s rich, hearty, and delicious. A can of cream of mushroom soup makes this dish so easy to prepare. Sour cream adds creamy richness.
If you’ve got extra time, caramelize some onions and mushrooms and add some additional complexity to your Meatball and Mushroom Stroganoff. 24 Farm Rich Homestyle Meatballs
4 cups egg noodles, cooked according to package directions
1 can (10 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dried dill
1/2 cup sour cream
1 green onion, finely sliced
- Cook Meatballs according to package directions.
- In large saucepan, bring soup, 1 cup water, Worcestershire sauce and dill to boil over medium heat, stirring often.
- Stir in Meatballs and sour cream; reduce heat to simmer. Cook for about 3 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.
- Serve Meatball mixture over egg noodles. Sprinkle with green onion.
Tip: Serve over rice, mashed potatoes or pasta instead of egg noodles if desired.
