Ingredients
-
1 cup mushrooms
2 TBSP olive oil
2 garlic cloves
3 TBSP butter
3 TBSP flour
3 cups beef stock
1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
Mashed potatoes, for serving
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. Arrange meatballs in a single layer in a casserole dish and place on middle rack of preheated oven. Bake half bag for 20–21 minutes or full bag for 28–29 minutes.
- Slice the mushrooms. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat and add mushrooms and garlic. Cook the mushrooms for about 3 minutes or until brown. Remove onto a plate.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in flour. Cook the flour mixture for two minutes, stirring constantly, then slowly pour in the stock and Worcestershire sauce and bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Add meatballs and mushrooms and cook until mixture is thick. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve with style over some mashed taters.
